Josephaus R. Weeks is a native Liberian and serves as a Director of the Immigration Services Program. Prior to joining the African Coalition, Josephaus served as President and founder of the Sierra Leone Descendants Association of New England, President of Krio Descendants United of California, Treasurer of Rialto UMC Rialto California, and Treasurer of the Church of the Epiphany in Providence, Rhode Island. Josephaus is a retired engineer and earned his post-graduate degree in engineering from Rhode Island Institute of Technology. Josephaus has trained immigrant communities at numerous workshops and outreach programs. Josephaus currently works to educate African immigrants of the proposed immigration policy changes including Public Charge and its impact on migrant and refugee communities. He speaks Congo and Krio, native to Liberia and Sierra Leone.
