The African Coalition, in collaboration with the Immigrant Rights Leadership Alliance (IRLA) and engaged community members, delivered public testimony at a Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors hearing to advocate for increased funding for immigrant services. As an active member of IRLA, our organization works collectively to ensure that county budget priorities reflect the urgent needs of immigrant communities—particularly in the areas of housing instability, worker protections, and support for aging immigrants—well in advance of final budget proposals by the Board.
